NMPED licensed teachers working at public high schools or middle schools who are interested in becoming a certified Driver Education Instructor must be approved directly through the NMDOT Traffic Safety Division.
Before taking any training, please submit your application paperwork for approval and check the training validity with the Traffic Safety Division or the TSC Center.

Per NMAC 18.20.3. a report should be submitted on a quarterly basis, but the Traffic Safety is only requesting reports from instructors that received materials for a specific class session.
