The University of New Mexico Traffic Safety Center was formerly known as the Transportation Safety Law Center and New Mexico Transportation Safety Center, located at the University of New Mexico Institute of Public Law. In 2024 the center moved to 1634 University Blvd NE Albuquerque,NM 87102 and continues its work with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, Traffic Safety Division. Traffic Safety Center staff focuses on three main areas of expertise: licensing, monitoring and training the Driver Education, Driving Safety and Ignition Interlock providers.
